Life Coaching is the process of guiding and challenging others to identify core life desires, uncovering authentic talents and applying unique qualities in pursuit of one’s goals. Coaching is a positive, practical and supportive process to help you create passion, joy and balance in your life. It is an ongoing relationship that is action-oriented, goal-driven, proactive and measurable.

 Do you know where you are going, what your life is about and how your values affect you day-to-day? I will guide you to clarify your values, beliefs, purpose and goals.

You may know where you're going and what you need to do, but you forget or simply get stuck in your limiting belief systems, ineffective habits or inability to focus. I will get you back on track by helping you identify limiting beliefs and ineffective habits and find more effective ways of living and enjoying life.

Do you find yourself resisting change because it's easier and more comfortable to stay the way you are? Any change you make causes resistance and backlash within yourself as well as from other people in your life. I will help you move beyond that resistance -with greater ease and flow.

How is coaching different from or similar to psychotherapy?

Some similarity exists, mainly in that the conversations between coach and client are confidential, as are those between therapist and patient. Largely, however, the coaching relationship is based on growth and movement toward achievement of goals and does not focus on the distant past. It focuses on today and the future to determine where the person wants to go and encourages the client to consistently take effective action to reach both personal and professional goals. Therapy and counseling primarily focus on diagnosing, understanding and healing emotional issues that impede their ability to function in a normal day to day manner. Therapists direct their clients to revisit past events to discover and resolve conflicting issues that have burdened them and is designed to help an individual client move from dysfunctional state to a functional state. Coaching helps the client to focus on their talents, skills and strengths and is designed to help an individual move from a functional state to an optimal state.

*It is important to know that coaching can be therapeutic in nature, and therapy can focus on the future, but the two are not interchangeable. With that being said, prospective or current clients may be directed toward a therapist or counselor if deemed appropriate by the coach. (Sometimes people also engage in therapy and life coaching at the same time.)

How does the coaching process work?

In the coaching relationship you may decide to work on all areas of your life at once or just focus on one. Every coaching program is personalized and tailored on an individual basis in order to meet the client’s needs and wants. Along the way, you and I will work together to reassess goals and priorities. During the introductory free session, I will ask you in-depth questions that will help me determine the structure of your coaching program in order for you to receive spectacular results.

As your coach, friend and confidant, I will partner with you to:

  • Get a clear understanding of who you are and what you value.
  • Organize your life and remove tolerations that are draining your energy.
  • Identify and access valuable resources in your environment.
  • Celebrate your achievements as you make positive changes.
  • Solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Eliminate self-defeating behaviors and roadblocks to success.
  • Take action and start living the life you have always wanted.

  • Finding a new career that is fun and fulfilling.

  • Finding passion and joy in life.
